Using Dictation to Supercharge Your Writing Output – The Author Biz Podcast Interview

I was lucky enough to be interviewed for this week’s edition of The Author Biz podcast with Stephen Campbell. Now here’s the interesting thing – Stephen is a bit of a sceptic when it comes to dictation but, by the end of the interview, he had rushed out to buy a copy of Dragon. We had a terrific chat and he became convinced of the benefits of dictation – and transcription in particular – as a result.

  1. Thanks for doing that interview Scott. I was doing a search online about writing books through dictation, and I discovered that podcast. That led me to your author page on Amazon and I bought the book you were talking about in the podcast. I’ve been very interested in dictating books lately because I think it would increase my productivity a lot. When you talked about being a slow typist, it struck a chord with me. I’m trying to follow your advice about dictating email messages and other posts online. In fact I’m dictating this post right now with my iPhone. Thanks again for the advice in your book and in the podcast. I’m pretty determined to make this work and make my workflow more efficient.
